Matthew Reese
Sustainable Development and Geographic Information Systems Graduate of Appalachian State University + FAA Licensed UAS Pilot.
Growing up in Asheville, North Carolina, Matthew developed a great love and appreciation for the outdoors due to his early education at Evergreen Community Charter School. There he met Eli Colson and together they haven't stopped adventuring. From backpacking in WNC, traveling internationally, and being in business together, they've formed a deep friendship that's reflected in the quality of their work.
In December of 2023 Matthew graduated Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Development and a certification in Geographic Information Systems. Now, Matthew lives in Boone, North Carolina pursuing ECI full time. In his free time he enjoys endurance running, yoga, board games, film photography, and cycling.
After spending the past 6 years in the customer service industry, Matthew brings his bright personable character and proficient drone videography and photography skills to materialize his vision.
Matthew is driven by the love of his craft, to create beautiful media through his creative lens, and to meet new people. His jubilant energy travels with him as he is always looking to connect and become an integrated member of the community around him.
Eli Colson

Meet Eli, a 21-year-old adventurous entrepreneur from Black Mountain, North Carolina.
Eli is an avid traveler who loves to explore new cultures and meet new people. He's always up for a challenge, whether it's sea kayaking in Alaska or climbing mountains in Portugal. His adventurous spirit has taken him to some of the most remote and beautiful places on earth, and he has a wealth of stories to share from his travels.
In his free time, Eli is an avid fly fisherman who loves to explore new rivers. He's also a talented photographer who captures the beauty of the world around him through his lens. When he's not fishing or taking photos, he can often be found mountain biking through the mountains of North Carolina.
Eli is driven by his desire to make a difference in the world and help others. He believes that through his businesses, he can bring joy and inspiration to people's lives. He's always on the lookout for new opportunities and is never satisfied with the status quo.

Eagle Crest Imaging was founded during the summer of 2022. ECI is a service based company established to create multimedia content for marketing within real estate, business, outdoor lifestyle, and construction markets. Our name comes from the community in which Eli and Matthew grew to be who they are today. What started as an outlet to capture the Appalachian mountains has fostered into a deep, passionate love of photography and cinematography. We primarily operate within the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina but love to spread our wings and travel.

As drones become integrated into everyday life there is an increasing need to educate
those around us on drone application and safety. As ECI provides professional drone services
we are equipped with an always expanding knowledge on UAV safety and applications.
We are preparing to offer aerial mapping and inspection services. ECI dreams to help
with conservation efforts and aid the protection and monitoring of
natural ecosystem's health through drones and geographic information systems in the future.

We are a fully insured company and understand that each flight provides a unique set of circumstances.
Our pilots have obtained their FAA Part 107 licenses and operate within both federal and local regulation.
As federal and local regulations are constantly updating we pride ourselves in being proficient and up to date.
